The aim of the resettlement & integration programme is to successfully teach foreigners the language, the legal system, the culture and the history of Ghana. Foreigners should become so familiar with the lifestyle in Ghana that they can independently cope with all areas of daily life without the help or intervention of third parties.
The integration programme is aimed at both new arrivals and people who have lived in Ghana for a relatively long period but have not yet learnt sufficiently the Ghanaian lifestyle. These courses are intended to break through “the vicious cycle of no language – no work – no opportunity”.
Training will cover:
|Language courses:||Orientation courses:|
|Work and career||Ghanaian legal system|
|Bringing up and raising children||History and culture|
|Trade and consumption||Rights and obligations of Ghanaians & residents|
|Housing||Health and safety issues in Ghana|
|Media and media use|
